Guacamole

  • 4 ripe hass avocados
  • 2 medium ripe tomatoes, stemmed, seeded and coarsely chopped
  • 2-4 jalapeño or serrano chiles, stemmed, seeded and coarsely chopped
  • 1/2 small white onion, peeled and finely chopped
  • juice of 1-2 limes
  • salt
  • tortilla chips
  1. Halve avocados lengthwise and remove and discard pits
  2. Scoop out pulp into a medium bowl and coarsely mash with a fork
  3. Add tomatoes, chiles, and onions
  4. Add lime juice to taste
  5. Season with salt
  6. Mix until just combined
