Chicken Cheese Chowder

Ingredients (Yield: 4-5 Servings)
- 1 cup shredded carrot (optional/yuck)
- 1 container pre-sliced yellow onions
- 2 cups milk
- 4 TBS butter
- 2 cans chicken broth
- 12.5oz can Tyson white chunk chicken, drained & shredded
- White wine "to taste" (I use Yellow Tail Riesling)
- Celery seed (not celery salt) "to taste"
- Worchestershire sauce "to taste"
- 8oz sharp cheddar
- Chives as garnish
- Sauté onion/carrot in butter
- Blend in flour; add milk & chicken broth
- Cook & stir until thickened & bubbly. Stir in chicken
- Stir in chicken, worchestershire, celery seed & wine
- Heat through
- Add cheese & stir gradually until melted
- Garnish with chives, if desired
