Peanut Ice Cream Pie

Ingredients
- 1 9" graham cracker crust
- 1 quart vanilla ice cream (softened)
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
- 2/3 cup chopped dry roasted salt-free peanuts
Directions
- Prepare crust - refrigerate until well chilled. Press ice cream into piecrust.
- In small bowl stir corn syrup and peanut butter until well blended. Pour half of mixture over ice cream.
- Sprinkle with half peanuts. Repeat layering.
- Freeze until firm. (about 5 hours)
- Let stand at room temp for 5 minutes for easy cutting.
Homemade crust: 2 cups graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar and 1/3 cup butter. Press firmly into bottom and sides of 9" pie plate; making small rim.
(Note: I've never actually made this but my Mom does and people get all happy. I don't have a sweet-tooth for much more that an ungodly amout of a lot of Mountain Dew.)
